Big Agnes has been named the exclusive bag and pad supplier to Big City Mountaineers’ Summit for Someone benefit climb program.

Powered by a team of outdoor enthusiasts, Big Agnes creates gear for everyone who enjoys sleeping outside. As exclusive bag and pad supplier, Big Agnes will provide Summit for Someone participants with Farwell sleeping bags and Two-Track sleeping pads. The Farwell is a 0-degree synthetic bag, and the Two Track is a self-inflating pad that offers 2 inches of insulation from the ground.

Len Zanni, director sales and marketing, comments, “Our involvement with the Big City Mountaineers is as meaningful to us personally as it is on a business level. We wholly support the Big City Mountaineers’ mission and work, and we are honored to play such an important role in the Summit for Someone Program.”

Big City Mountaineers’ Executive Director, Mark Godley, acknowledges Big Agnes’ support. “The success of Summit for Someone is due, in large part, to sponsors like Big Agnes. In only its second year, this program has raised more than $100,000, which will afford young people from urban environments the unique opportunity to experience what we all know and love – the mountains. Our benefit climbs series is continuing its exponential growth, as over 100 folks registered to climb in 2006 within 48 hours of opening registration. The voracious appetite for participating is due to outdoor industry leaders, such as Big Agnes, who are generously supporting this effort.”
