Bern Unlimited, a maker of head protection gear for action and snow sports, said John Morgan has assumed the role of vice president.


With 38 years in the athletic footwear business, including product marketing and development at Nike, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Design and Development, General Manager of the Golf Division at Reebok and General Merchandising Manager of Footwear at New Balance, John brings a very deep and varied background to the Bern team.

John will be providing executive leadership for all departments at Bern Unlimited out of the Massachusetts headquarters.  He is focused on helping Bern manage the tremendous growth the brand has experienced the past few years, improving and bringing positive change within the company.


One of the most impressive aspects of John’s background is his wide-range of experience.  From sales, retail, product development, manufacturing, marketing and high level management within the athletic industry, John has done it all. This multi-faceted experience will enable him to help Bern reach the next level.  He has managed factories in Korea and China, as well as developed product hands on with the top athletes in professional sports.  He is keenly aware of the connection in developing leading, athlete driven product and overseas manufacturing.  He brings an organized, deadline driven approach to Bern with an eye on the entire process.
