Benelli USA announced the addition of Bret Maffett as the company’s product manager for the Franchi brand and the accessories category. Maffett’s new role will be located at Benelli USA’s headquarters in Accokeek, MD.

As product manager, Maffett will be responsible for all product, margin and inventory aspects of the Franchi brand, along with the Benelli USA accessory category. This position works closely with Franchi’s factory and various vendors for accessories to ensure product quantity, quality, specifications, pricing and seasonal availability for the achievement of overall brand/category goals.

“Bret’s background makes him ideally suited to the role of product manager for Franchi and our accessories category,” said Benelli USA General Manager Tom DeBolt. “His experience with managing expansive categories shows that he can handle complex product mixes efficiently and effectively, something necessary for the continued success of unique brands like Franchi and the Benelli accessory line. We’re excited to have him on the team.”

Prior to joining Benelli USA, Maffett served as the customer marketing manager for Liberty Hardware, based in Winston-Salem, NC. In his role with Liberty Hardware, Maffett managed more than $150 million in retail growth for a brand with more than 900 active SKUs.
