Bell Canoe Works has grown its team of professional paddlesports representatives and expanded product distribution. Craig Johnson, Sales Manager, announced the company has signed agreements with two new rep groups and launched distribution into Eastern Canada.

Paul Brittain of Synergy Outdoors has signed on as Bell Canoe Works’
inaugural Canadian representative. Synergy Outdoors operates out of Ontario, the hotbed for Canadian canoeing and paddlesports. Brittain is a lifelong paddler with five years experience as a paddlesports rep. His other lines include Watermark boats, Harmony accessories, and AT Paddles.

“My customers demand the best – Bell is simply the best canoe brand on the market today,” Brittain said, “I am very excited to help bring Bell canoes to the heart of canoe country in Eastern Canada.”

In addition to breaking ground in Canada, Bell announced Minneapolis-based BP Associates will assume representation of the line in the Midwest. Bell Canoe has serviced Midwestern dealers with staff from its Zimmerman MN factory for the past 15 years. The partnership with BP Associates marks a bold move to increase Bell’s presence in the Midwest.

BP Associates boasts over 20 years of experience in the outdoor specialty industry. Their other lines include: Watermark boats, Harmony, Yakima, Pearl Izumi, Jansport, and Cascade Designs. The group utilizes four regional offices.

“This is a big move for us, but Bell has grown a lot and we feel the benefits of outside representation in our home territory will offer many advantages,” stated Craig Johnson. With construction already underway on Bell’s new plant, existing Bell staff are ramping up for the big transition and move next Spring.
