Bass Pro reopened its flagship store in Springfield, MO, with a number of restrictions, including limiting in-store transactions to shooting and shooting accessories.

Bass Pro spokesman Jack Wlezien said in a media statement, “Customers can enter through the southside entrance (closest to Hemingway’s, which remains closed), and we are limiting the number of customers within this area at any given time to ensure appropriate social distancing. Team members are practicing social distancing and other best practices for public health.”

The location will also offer curbside service beginning at 10 a.m. through 7 p.m.

The location was closed for nearly a month because of the city’s stay-at-home order. The city of Springfield amended how businesses deemed as non-essential could operate as part of the re-opening.

Bass Pro also on April 22 updated its COVID-19 procedures on its website, including limiting its store capacity to accommodate 100 customers or less at one time.
