Tanya and Bert Pictor, the founders of Balega Socks, and Luke Rowe, a running industry veteran, have launched a new running sock brand, Jogology, to be sold exclusively at run specialty stores beginning in September.

The Pictors founded Balega Socks in 2003, sold the business to Implus Corp. in 2015 and stepped away from day-to-day operations in June 2021. Rowe led business development at Fleet Feet from 2003 to 2016 after working as the VP of sales at Brooks Sports. Recently, he has held leadership roles for CEP and Addaday.

In a statement, the Pictors said the company “will focus on supporting the run community. We want Jogology to be as much a success for us as for the stores who commit to stocking our brand.”
