Baffin introduced a new women’s winter boot collection called the Wedge, which merges fashion with function. It includes two platform styles, the Geneva and Tornio.
Geneva has a tall, breathable nylon shell with a front lace fastening system and locking toggle. Tornio features a low-height nylon upper with a drawstring toggle at the ankle. Both are slip-on styles with a pull loop at the back and come in black and white.
“We are proud to unveil our latest series: the Wedge Collection. This exciting new collection embodies the perfect fusion of style and functionality, delivering top-notch performance in harsh winter conditions without compromising on fashion,” said Jessica Liut, brand director at Baffin. “With its sleek silhouette and premium materials, the Wedge Collection sets a new standard in winter footwear for trend-savvy individuals looking to conquer the cold in style.”
The Wedge Collection features Baffin’s proprietary slip-resistant technology, IceBite Grip, which provides slip resistance on ice better than rubber. Also made with a Polar Rubber outsole for grip and durability, ultralite high-rebound midsole cushions, and a Hex-Flex outsole is designed for slip resistance with a wedge base.
The Wedge Collection features Baffin’s Fixed-Fit multi-layer inner boot system, with proprietary technology including a Thermaplush next-to-foot wicking layer for warmth, form-fitting B-Tek Foam lining for comfort and B-Tek Heat lightweight, four-channel hollow-fiber insulation for high-loft breathability in a broad range of temperatures.
Proven by Baffin at latitudes and altitudes during Canadian winters, the Wedge Collection is Real-World Tested (RWT)* Tundra Rated.
The Wedge Collection is classified as B-Tek Dry Waterproof Breathable, offering high wet protection with increased breathability.
The Wedge Collection is waterproof from the base to the collar and protects from wetness while supporting comfortable movement.
*Real-World Tested (RWT) level evolution bridges the gap between product and application. RWT is a system that helps to recommend cold comfort levels associated with Baffin footwear. Each class was determined by the extensive use of Baffin products in real-world applications on expeditions and job sites worldwide.
