NSGA Sports Participation Study Shows Mixed Performance

Early figures from the 2018 edition of the NSGA’s Sports Participation showed continued participation gains in Open Water Sports and Outdoor Activities while declines were suffered in Team Sports, Fitness Activities, Shooting Sports and Indoor Games.

USA Basketball, NBA Set New Rules, Standards For Youth Basketball

USA Basketball and the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced a set of guidelines for youth basketball designed to enhance helping beginning players learn the fundamentals of the game. They include smaller basketballs, lower rims, no zone defense and no three-point scoring for players 11 years old and younger.
