Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) has inked a long-term partnership with The Beaumanoir Group (Beaumanoir), a global leader in product development and distribution, for Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, DC Shoes, Element, RVCA and VonZipper across key Western European regions, including France, Germany and UK.

Through the partnership, Beaumanoir, which is headquartered in France, becomes the brands’ strategic operating and sourcing partner, taking on design, manufacturing, wholesale, retail and e-commerce for key lifestyle categories such as apparel, swim, travel, accessories, and more for men, women and kids.

Beaumanoir reportedly acquired the retail operations for the Boardriders brands across Western Europe and licensed the rights to manufacture, design and distribute branded products. The arrangement is reportedly both an acquisition of the retail operation and a partnership for licensing rights.

“We are pleased to welcome Beaumanoir into our esteemed partner network for these iconic brands,” said Henry Stupp, regional president EMEA & India, Authentic. “We look forward to working together to leverage their retail expertise, explore new opportunities and grow the brands’ market presence across Western Europe, a region where the brands have a strong connection with consumers.”

Jérôme Drianno, CEO of Beaumanoir added, “With great expertise behind us, we are confident in our ability to stimulate the development of famous brands such as Quiksilver, Billabong and Roxy, in France and across Europe. Wholesale operations represent a key growth area for the future of the Boardriders Group, and an avenue for diversification of Beaumanoir, as does the international expansion this acquisition makes possible.”

“The partnership underscores Authentic’s commitment to the brands’ future across key European markets, as Beaumanoir’s deep retail and product expertise will bolster the brands’ expansive retail network,” Authentic said in a media release. “By combining Authentic’s strategic vision and proven platform with Beaumanoir’s operational strength and market knowledge, the partnership will introduce opportunities for sustained brand growth and longevity in a significant region.”

“The acquisition by the Beaumanoir Group opens up new avenues for long-term investment for all the Boardriders brands in Europe,” said Nico Foulet, president, Boardriders EMEA. “Like the teams themselves, I am fully committed to and enthusiastic about this news, which promises to increase the presence of our brands in their market.”

“Nico Foulet and his legacy Boardriders team in Europe have a deep understanding of our customer and extensive wholesale relationships, combined with Beaumanoir’s expertise in sourcing, logistics, and retail, we are excited for the future and for the opportunities that the partnership will bring,” said David Brooks, EVP, Action and Outdoor Sports, Authentic.
