Authentic appointed Lim Mi-Kyoung as SVP and head of Australia and New Zealand, reportedly overseeing the company’s regional expansion, focusing on brand development and driving long-term growth.
As Authentic’s first employee based in Australia, Mi-Kyoung is expected to build a team of “industry experts dedicated to advancing the company’s portfolio of brands in the region.”

Authentic said Mi-Kyoung is regarded as “one of the most influential executives in the Australian licensing landscape, with over 25 years of experience in the branded entertainment business.” She has worked in leadership roles at WP Brands, Gaffney Licensing and Hallmark Australia, managing blue-chip brands, including Pokémon, Discovery, Netflix, Cartoon Network, Paramount, Universal Studios, Activision, General Motors, Kawasaki, Disney, Warner Bros., Mattel and Hasbro. She was recently honored as part of WP Brands’ nomination as a Top Women-Led Brand Licensing Agency by License Global.
