Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor (ASWO) has appointed Nick Castagnoli as the new North American regional marketing manager for winter sports equipment at its Atomic and Salomon brands.

“We’re looking forward to adding Nick’s experience and leadership to our already great team,” said Mike Adams, vice president of winter sports equipment at ASWO, which is owned by Amer Sports of Finland. “He’ll be a great asset to both brands as we continue grow.”

Castagnoli comes to Atomic and Salomon with over 15 years of experience in the ski industry, including the past nine years working for Group Rossignol. Most recently, Castagnoli served as communications and public relations manager for the Group Rossignol, including, Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange, Look and Kerma brands, where he was responsible for the production and delivery of all outward facing brand, category, product and partnership communications.

As marketing manager, Castagnoli will manage all marketing initiatives from print, digital, retail, go-to-market and sports marketing to brand and category activation and consumer engagement.

Born and raised in Fort Dodge, IA, Castagnoli attended the University of Colorado in Boulder where he majored in English and has spent the past two decades living and playing in the Rocky Mountains. He is now based in Ogden, UT, home to Atomic and Salomon North America, and enjoys mountain biking, trail running, skiing and renovating his new house with his wife Venessa.
