Atomic hired industry veteran, Stephen Brown, as its new western region community marketing associate for the United States.
Based out of Ogden, UT, Brown brings years of experience to his new role at Atomic, having spent the last several seasons as the western competition manager for Fischer Ski. During this time, Brown managed competition sales programs and consumer events in the west, as well as facilitating magazine ski tests and directing the summer test center at Mt. Hood.
“It is easy to see the passion and expertise Steve brings with him for marketing and for the ski industry as well,” said Sean Kennedy, Atomic’s marketing manager for the Americas. “With Steve servicing the western United States, Atomic is excellently positioned to elevate its commitment to community marketing in order to reach more consumers and offer them a better skiing experience.”
Led by senior community marketing manager, Paul Guimmond, Brown joins eastern community marketing Associate, Kristen Kilchenstein to round out the Atomic community marketing team. The team will be responsible for driving exceptional consumer engagement through community events like Atomic’s popular Tour De Shred national demo, working with PSIA’s well established network of skiing professionals, regional ski academies and race departments and also collaborating with key Atomic dealers for exclusive in-store events.
“I’m really excited to be leading a national team that will be covering the USA from coast to coast to help drive Atomic’s engagement in the ski community,” said Guimmond.
Brown added, “I am extremely excited to be a part of such an innovative and dynamic brand that Atomic has proven itself to be,” said Brown. “With fun yet strategic initiatives like Tour de Shred, Atomic continues to change the landscape of local ski communities across the nation.”
