Athleta’s Head of Strategy Joins Sur La Table as President

Sur La Table hired Dan Goldman, who most recently led brand strategy at Athleta and Banana Republic, as president.

Goldman was corporate VP at Gap Inc. and head of strategy at Athleta + Banana Republic from November 2020 to July 2025. Previously, he was global vice president of strategy, consumer insights, & innovation at The North Face. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company and Kurt Salmon, as well as brand management roles at Procter & Gamble.

Sur La Table, the cookware retailer and cooking class venue, operates about 55 stores.
