Following the release of three exclusive styles in 2022, including two Gel-1130 Itachi and Sasuke and one Gel-Lyte III Kakashi, Asics and Sébastien Abdelhamid return with the Gel-NYC.
Based on the Japanese brand’s product launched in January 2023, the shoe comes in a presentation box and features a lace lock with Naruto’s scroll, a scratch nodding to Western imagery, a dubrae to keep laces tight and centered with the Leaf Village logo, and Naruto Uzumaki’s logo on the tongue.
The Gel-Nimbus 3 and Gel-MC Plus V shoes and Gel-cumulus 16 tooling inspire the upper. The rear and forefoot gel technology offers all-day wear/comfort.
