Asics reported net income of ¥22,285 million ($188 mm) in the nine-month fiscal year ended Dec. 31 on annual revenues of ¥354.05 billion ($2.99 bn). Asics is moving its calendar year-end from Mar. 31 to Dec. 31. Comparative results were not available for the transitional year.
Domestic net sales were ¥68.99 billion, overseas sales were ¥285.06 billion, gross profit was ¥155.19 billion, operating income was ¥30.47 billion, and ordinary income was ¥34.3 billion and net income was ¥22,285 million.
For the current fiscal year ended Dec., 31, it projects earnings of ¥423.0 billion.
