ArmaLite announces the appointment of Eugene OBrien to the position of vice president of operations. OBrien will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of ArmaLite’s operational strategy and directly oversees its machining, manufacturing, procurement, and distribution depart ents.

With more than 15 years of experience in various industries including engineering consulting, manufacturing and technology OBrien was most recently employed as the Senior Analyst with FNH USA in McLean, VA. Prior to joining the firearms industry in 2009, Eugene was a senior analyst in online marketing for the automotive industry with The Cobalt Group in Seattle, WA, held regulatory compliance positions with United Agri Products and Griffith Energy in the Rochester, NY area, and was a scientist with the IT Group at the Nevada Nuclear Test Site.

Eugene holds an MBA from the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, as well as a Master of Science degree from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
