Arcus Hunting has hired Jim Heeren as national sales manager for the Midwest and Western U.S. regions.

In his new role, Heeren is responsible for driving sales strategy, strengthening relationships with key accounts, distributors, and independent retailers, and working closely with Arcus Hunting’s product development teams to expand the brand’s reach and grow top-line sales.

Heeren comes to Arcus Hunting with extensive experience in merchandising, product development, and account management. Most recently, he played a key role in launching a gun safe division for Dansons, overseeing all aspects of the business. Before that, he spent 21 years at Cabela’s, managing ammo, black powder and shooting accessories while collaborating with manufacturers and internal teams to build merchandising programs.

Arcus Hunting, LLC, headquartered in Covington, GA, is an acquisition and organic growth platform with a brand portfolio for the bowhunting and archery consumables and accessories market. Under its brands, Tink’s, Dead Down Wind, Ramcat Broadheads, Trophy Taker and Rack One, Arcus markets and manufactures a range of deer lures, attractants, scent control products, broadheads, and archery accessories.
