Sugarhouse Creative, a product design and engineering agency based in British Columbia, hired Dan Green, a former VP of design and senior director of advanced concepts at Arc’teryx, as director of advanced concepts, a new role for the company.

Green has over 25 years of product design experience in outdoor and military softgoods. Green left Arc’teryx in late 2021 after six years working for the outdoor brand in a series of design roles. After leaving Arc’teryx, he co-founded Minus 90 Gear Co. and Coda Equipment.

“Dan is so highly regarded in this industry, and we are thrilled to have him join our team,” said President Tara Latham. “He is one of the most authentic leaders in our industry; he’s a builder, an innovator and someone who knows what it means to shape meaningful R&D into a great product.”

“I’ve been following the Sugarhouse team for some time, impressed with the commitment to excellence and careful consideration of every detail—and I don’t just mean output, I mean process,” Green said, “Every decision made and every person involved is important to how Sugarhouse works as a business. Being excellent is really hard, so it’s important for me to be a part of a strong team that really lives it. It pushes me, and that’s a ton of fun! This is somewhere I can learn and grow.”
