Arc’teryx plans to open a store in Bethesda, its first in Maryland.
The store at Westfield Montgomery Mall is expected to open this fall. The outdoor brand, owned by Amer Sports, operates two stores nearby in Washington, D.C., including one in the Georgetown area.
The Canadian apparel company, specializing in outdoor technical apparel, equipment and related equipment for mountaineering and Alpine sports is headquartered in North Vancouver, BC. Overall, the company currently operates 32 stores, including outlet locations, in the U.S.
