Aqualung announced it has hired Scott Schneider as Director of Human Resources, North America.
Schneider will work as the senior business partner for the Aqualung Group North America region, providing strategic direction and operational human resources leadership. He will also be responsible for managing the development and implementation of HR policies, including recruitment, retention, professional development, benefits and compensation, employee relations, and communications.
Located in Vista, CA, regional headquarters, Schneider reports to Andrew Gritzbaugh, GM, North America, Aqualung Group.

Schneider joins Aqualung Group with more than 17 years of experience in HR leadership, global transformation and culture building. Most recently, he served as director of HR at Speedo for over a decade and previously held human resources positions at sports and lifestyle brands, including Oakley and Vans.
“Scott is uniquely familiar with the swim and dive market and brings a strong understanding of outdoor industry culture and organizational planning,” said Gritzbaugh. “We’re excited to welcome him to Aqualung Group.”
The Aqualung Group product portfolio includes dive and swim equipment brands, including Aqualung, Apeks, Omer, Aquasphere, U.S. Divers, and Stohlquist.
