Rupert Campbell Leaving Adidas North America

The president of Adidas North America will step down to pursue other opportunities, effective October 27. Executive board member Arthur Hoeld, who leads global sales, will oversee the region until a successor is found.

OIA Elects New Board Members

Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) members elected four new and three incumbent members to its Board. New members include Diana Seung, Troy Sicotte, Jahmicah Dawes, and Keith Carrato. Three returning members include Jennifer McLaren, Kevin Winkel and Alison Hill.

EXEC: On Snags Two Upgrades Following Investor Day Event

Shares of On Holding remained down slightly since the company’s Investor Day last week due, apparently, to concerns that On’s third-quarter results will miss estimates. However, two analysts upgraded On’s stock and a number of other upbeat reports arrived in recent days as most analysts were left impressed by its ambitious long-term growth strategy.

The company hired outdoor industry professional Laura Nilo as its U.S. marketing manager, West Coast, and marketing strategist Christiane Rauch as a senior consultant in Northern Europe for Hyosung Spandex.

Nordstrom Appoints Chief Human Resources Officer

Nordstrom, Inc. hired Lisa Price as chief human resources officer, effective November 6. She joins the retailer from Domino’s Pizza, where she has been executive vice president and chief human resources officer since 2019.

Walmart Names VP, Walmart GoLocal

Walmart hired Rina Hurst as vice president of Walmart GoLocal, the retailer’s delivery service platform. Hurst joins Walmart from Shipt, where she was chief business officer.

Alo Yoga Opens at Hudson Yards

Alo Yoga opened a store at Hudson Yards, its sixth in New York City and 59th in the U.S. The company reported plans earlier this year to open over 100 stores by 2024, including its first stores in London and Paris.

Hoka Opens First London Flagship

Hoka, owned by Deckers Brands, opened its first retail store in Europe at Shaftesbury Capital’s Covent Garden in London. The 1,750-square-foot space at 2-3 James Street sells the brand’s full line of footwear, apparel and accessories. 

Tilly’s Board Member Retires

Tilly’s Inc. announced in a regulatory filing that Bernard Zeichner retired from his position as a member of the Board of Directors, effective October 2.
