Dick’s SG Lifts Guidance as Q3 Results Fly Past Expectations

Dick’s Sporting Goods raised its outlook for the year after reporting sales and earnings easily topped analyst targets with the help of healthy back-to-school selling. Same-store sales in the quarter improved 1.7 percent with gains in transaction and average ticket prices.

Lycra Names CEO

The Lycra Company announced today that Gary Smith has been appointed chief executive officer, effective November 27.  He formerly led Hatteras Yachts and Polartec.

Björn Borg Brand Posts Q3 Sales Growth

Swedish sports fashion brand Björn Borg reported its Q3 net sales increased 5 percent to SEK 262.1 million ($25.5 million) from SEK 248.6 million in the 2022 corresponding period.
