Any Mountain, a chain of ski and snowboard shops, opens its eighth store in Roseville, CA on Friday, Nov. 25 in the recently renovated Roseville Square (just off I-80, Exit 103) next to Trader Joe’s.

The newest store in the Northern California chain, which is owned by Vail Resorts SSV retail unit, has 14,000 square feet of retail space and will employ 55 people.

The new store will offer the popular products and services of all the Any Mountain stores such as Junior Trade In for skis and snowboards, custom boot fitting, precision ski and snowboard tuning and 100 percent guarantees on everything sold. In addition to the winter wear and gear, the store will have apparel, footwear, eyewear and a camping section.

“We will have the largest winter selection of skis, boards and boots compared to anybody in this market-hands down,” enthuses Bruno Gotzmer, regional manager for the eight Any Mountain locations throughout the San Francisco/East Bay/Sacramento region. “Any Mountain has been experiencing fantastic growth recently including our seventh store opening in Fremont a year ago. We think it has something to do with hiring the best people, providing the best service, 100 percent guaranteed satisfaction on everything we sell, and of course, super convenient locations that are easy off and on the freeway.”

Other initiatives for the new store include attracting more youths and juniors to the affordably-priced Junior Trade In program that features season-long rentals for kids from tots to teens starting at $54.99 for skis, $44.99 for boots, and $10 for a mandatory safety check-a total of $109.98 for the first year on used or demo equipment. After the first season, participants can exchange equipment for the next size needed for only $25 per piece-skis, boots and snowboards–$59.98/year.

Prices include skis/bindings, boots, and poles. Snowboard set ups are also available starting at $64.99 and boots for $44.99 for used or demo equipment for a total of $109.98 for the first season and then like gear, is only $59.98 per years. New ski and snowboard packages start at $229.99 for the first season of participation and then are $114.99 in subsequent years.

The bamboo-accented fixtures throughout the remodeled store were chosen to make both a style and environmental statement.

“They create a light and airy feel for the store but they were also selected because they are an earth-friendly product because of their strength and durability and the fact they are a renewable resource, explains Gotzmer.
