According to the the National Rifle Association, this year’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits, which kicks of Friday and will go until Sunday at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, NC, will have an estimated 70,000 attendees, putting this on target to be one of the “largest and finest in NRA’s 139-year history.”


Firearms manufacturers will display the firearm industry’s latest and greatest products while various hunting and shooting accessories and an extensive private collection displayed by NRA-affiliated gun collector clubs will fill acres of convention space.

 

The convention will play host to numerous presentations throughout the three-day convention, including methods of concealed carry; hunting in Africa; Firearms Law; the Grassroots Workshop; and Refuse to Be a Victim® seminars.

The NRA’s Celebration of American Values Leadership Forum will take place Friday, May 14, from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.


Confirmed speakers for this unique, members-only event include Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour; Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell; Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton; Oklahoma Congressman Dan Boren; television and film actor Chuck Norris; Lt. Colonel Oliver North; Former Governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin; Indiana Congressman Mike Pence; and South Dakota Senator John Thune. Also included in the list of invited speakers are North Carolina’s very own Governor Bev Perdue, Senator Richard Burr and Congressman Heath Shuler.

NRA’s 2nd Annual Celebration of American Values Freedom Event will take place Saturday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Time Warner Cable Arena. The featured speakers for the evening are radio and television personality and best selling author Glenn Beck and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Guests will also be treated to a one-of-a-kind concert event featuring NRA Life Member and Grammy Award winning music legend Charlie Daniels.
