New Zealand-based apparel and pack brand Alchemy Equipment appointed Kempten, Germany-based sales agency Agentur79 to manage sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, starting in Autumn/Winter 2017.
Agentur79 was founded by Patrick Heinisch, formerly a sales rep for Spyder. Heinisch has already appointed additional regional sales reps to help with promoting the brand, with more to follow.
“This is a significant step for us, as it will enable us to open a largely untapped potential in these markets,” stated Frank Spiewack, Alchemy Equipment’s VP of global sales. “The appointment of Agentur79 will be a step change, which also means that we will set up a European warehouse to support sell-through in the region. We are also in talks with candidates for other regions, namely Benelux, U.K. and Scandinavia, where we see huge potential in the future.”
Dijana Perkovic from Transonic Trade will represent Alchemy Equipment in Switzerland, Holger Befeld from 69 Distribution will take over Bavaria and Britta Schlapp will manage sales in Baden-Wuerttemberg from her showroom in Sindelfingen. Heinisch will manage sales in the remaining areas until more reps come on board in early 2017.
