Adidas Terrex and Japanese label and wander collaborated on a multi-seasonal collection that helps consumers enjoy outdoor experiences.
“Inspiration for the collection came from a short film produced in the 1970s which revolves around the theme of the relationship between humans and nature. The collections concept and feeling evolved from there,” said Mihoko Mori, co-founder, and wander.
“We share the same passion for nature and the outdoors as Adidas Terrex, so the collaboration has felt like an extension of what we do at and wander,” said Keita Ikeuchi, co-Founder, and wander.
The collection includes:
- The visually updated Terrex Free Hiker 2 which grips a range of surfaces, offers a Boost midsole, has a breathable upper with a sock-like fit, and is constructed, in part, with Parley Ocean Plastic.
- Terrex XploricP and Wander Cold.RDY Down Jacket offers Cold.RDY insulation to keep the warmth in, Terrex x and wander reflective prints on the jacket and detachable hood. An array of pockets and adjustable features complement the styles. Constructed, in part, with Parley Ocean Plastic.
- Adidas Terrex x and wander graphics with reflective detailing were worked into the balance of the apparel collection that includes the Terrex Fleece Jacket and Terrex Pants.
- Merino Wool Hiking Socks made with Cold.RDY technology, a quilted Winterized Bucket Hat and the lightweight Aero.RDY Hiking Backpack completes the lineup.
“Since day one, we’ve been designing functional, forward-thinking outdoor products that help people get out into the elements,” said Birgit Freundorfer, senior design director, Adidas Terrex. “It’s a vision shared by Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori at and wander who continue to establish themselves as one of the leading outdoor labels in the world. Functionality is always at the brand’s core, but their creative vision to deliver reimagined garments for an easy hike is why we wanted to collaborate with them. This collection fits everywhere, from streets to trails, while remaining committed to exploring more sustainable material solutions.”
The collection drops on November 1. For more product information, go here.
