Timed with its United by Summits campaign, Adidas Terrex released Free Hiker 2—an updated version of its hiking silhouette.
The shoe offers an “improved sock-like fit for increased adaptability and a high-performance upper made of yarn that’s 50 percent Parley Ocean Plastic, reinforcing Adidas’ commitment to end plastic waste.” The shoe includes Adidas’ Boost technology for energy return, a Continental rubber outsole for support and traction on changing terrain.
For added protection against wet conditions, the Free Hiker 2 also comes in a weatherproof version featuring a breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, abrasion-resistant reinforcements and a molded toe cap.
