Adidas signed Trae Young and Lonnie Walker IV, both expected to be chosen in the first round in Thursday’s NBA Draft, to endorsement deals.

Playing for Oklahoma, Young became the first player in NCAA history to lead the nation in both points (27.4) and assists (8.7) per game. Walker IV played for Miami and became known for his “explosive scoring, unrivaled work ethic and creativity in the paint,” according to Adidas.

Young and Walker IV are expected to play an instrumental role in driving performance insights, in addition to creating deeper connections within basketball communities across the globe. They will also be featured in upcoming brand campaigns and activations.
