adidas received good news this week as the British High Court granted an injunction which will allow the company to use its three-stripe product at Wimbledon, despite a ruling by the International Tennis Federation that adidas’ three stripes treatment was and considered a logo and must be within ITF size guidelines.

In a prepared statement, The Grand Slams and the International Tennis Federation noted that they had “been advised that [their] application for an immediate dismissal of the entire adidas claim before trial was not granted by the High Court in London.”  The organizations acknowledged the Court’s decision and were appreciative of its willingness to schedule an early trial.
