Adidas reported that it signed Kristaps Porzingis, star forward from the New York Knicks, to an endorsement deal.
The signing was confirmed by Adidas in a Twitter post.
Reports surfaced in early October that Adidas had extended offer to Porzingis. Nike had until mid-October to match the terms of the deal.
Porzingis will join James Harden, Damian Lillard, Dwight Howard, John Wall, rookie Brandon Ingram and new Knick teammates Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah as the newest member of the Adidas family.
