The German Football Association (DFB) and adidas met before the Arbitration Court in Stuttgart for the first time to discuss their legal dispute regarding the adidas' supplier agreement with the DFB. In very detailed and intense negotiations the arbitrators examined the argumentation put forward by both parties within the legal framework. Due to the complexity of the case, and also in light of their long-standing partnership, the Arbitration Court advised the two parties to reach a settlement. The representatives of both the DFB and adidas thereupon entered promising discussions accordingly. A final decision is expected to be reached in the very near future.
