Acorn, a division of Totes/Isotoner, announced that Patricia M. Babka joined the company as director of business development. Babka joins the Acorn team from Franklin Retail Solutions, where she was
most recently director of business development. Prior to Franklin,
Babka held executive management positions at Gramicci, The North Face
and Columbia Sportswear.

Babka will be responsible for national sales strategy and leading Acorn in new business growth. She’ll work to grow business with existing accounts and seek new opportunities. In addition, Babka will further develop effective rep and retailer relationships. She brings vast sales management experience, product line development and industry knowledge to Acorn.

“We are excited to have Patricia as part of our executive management team,” said John Donnelly, general manager of Acorn. “Her sales management experience and proven track record will strengthen and grow our business.”

Babka graduated from the Denver School of Art & Technology. All told, she brings a breadth of experience and knowledge in the sportswear and outdoor industries.

Babka will assume her role on Nov. 18, 2011.
