Academy Sports + Outdoors announced that it will be opening new stores in Terrell, TX, and Frisco, TX, this year.
The new stores mark Academy’s 24th and 25th DFW-area locations.
“Academy Sports + Outdoors is excited to continue expanding in our home state with two new locations in Terrell and Frisco,” said Sam Johnson, Academy Sports + Outdoors’ executive vice president of retail operations. “The opening of these two stores will help us better serve our loyal Texas customers with convenience, strong assortments, value and an enhanced shopping experience.”
Academy expects the new store to bring approximately 100 total new jobs to the Terrell and Frisco communities.
