A4, the Los Angeles-based team and corporate apparel manufacturer, has acquired LabFit Sublimation and hired industry veteran Todd Levine as president. Mark Mertens will remain as chairman and CEO.
LabFit, founded by Levine, is a performance brand focused on sublimated team wear and uniforms. Mertens said, “Todd’s addition to our management team completes a strategic move that will ensure our independence and continued growth. I have known Todd for many years. We were strong competitors who always respected each other”.
“I am thrilled to work with Mark and the A4 team,” said Levine. “The integrity, service and values at A4 are 100 percent aligned with my past experiences in the industry, and I look forward to being part of the company’s strategic plans to rise to new heights.”
Levine is a team and corporate apparel business veteran as president of Alleson Athletic. Earlier this year, Levine launched LabFit, based in Orange County, CA.
Founded in 1971, A4 is a family-owned-and-operated provider of stock, decorated and sublimated sportswear to the team and corporate markets.
