Endura has updated its winter MTB 500 Freezing Point Jacket and has added a women’s version with PrimaLoft Gold Insulation panels on the sleeves, front torso and hood. This combined with stretch thermal softshell fabric with a new Primaloft inner face on the back and lower sleeve offers unrestricted movement. The aesthetics and the paneling were overhauled for the Men’s jacket, with updated details. The Women’s jacket follows the same design principles in a women-specific fit.
The MT500 Freezing Point Jacket features PrimaLoft Gold Active insulation, small pack size, water-repellency, 4-way stretch breathability, lightweight durable ripstop body panels filled with PrimaLoft Gold insulation, stretch PrimaLoft backed softshell fabric on back and underarms, PFC-Free, non-toxic water repellent finish, durable shoulders with silicone grip work with backpacks for multi-day MTB adventures. The hood’s adjustment system has been updated with revised compression routing. The internal toggles are highlighted with the prints on the collar. The collar construction also received a rework with an internal stiffener and a soft, textured inner face fabric around the back neck. The internal face fabric of the rear softshell panels is PrimaLoft fabric for wicking and insulation complementing the PrimaLoft gold fill in the front panels. Further details include a hidden internal pocket, and reflective trims on hood, cuff and rear tail. The Men’s jacket is available in sizes XS-XXL in electric blue and black. The women’s jacket comes in sizes XS-XXL in paprika and in black.
The MT500 Freezing Point Gilet is a winter layering piece worn under a waterproof jacket or adding extra warmth on top of the MT500 L/S Jersey. Off the bike, this gilet is equally versatile for outdoor activities and everyday use through the colder months. It has the same features as a jacket but with the sleeves and hood removed— the same fabrics, shoulders with silicone grip, front pockets doubling as vents, hidden internal pocket, and reflective trims on the rear tail.
The MT500 Freezing Point Glove offers winter warmth and waterproof protection for sub-zero rides due to its waterproof, breathable internal membrane and PFC-free DWR finish in combination with PrimaLoft Gold insulation. The long cuff features a Velcro adjuster, locking the glove in place for extra protection in bad weather and making getting it on and off easier when hands are cold. Super sticky silicone prints on the palms and fingers give security on descents while the shaping on the fingers reduces bulk at the joints to form on bars and the brakes. The embossed detailing across the knuckle and on the cuff ties in with the other MT500 garments.
Combine these new items with the MT500 Freezing Point Trousers and MT500 Freezing Point Overshoe II for a deep winter outfit.
