U.S. House Speaker Paul D. Ryan will visit the New Balance factory in Lawrence, MA on Thursday to discuss federal tax reform.
“Speaker Ryan will participate in a business leader roundtable, tour the factory, and promote the historic tax reform plan currently being developed by the House, Senate, and Trump administration,” according to a press briefing.
The statement notes that the Lawrence factory is one of New Balance’s five athletic shoe manufacturing facilities in New England.
Members of the media will be invited to cover the top of the roundtable, a brief segment of the factory tour, Speaker Ryan’s remarks, and to participate in a media Q&A.
