Leki signed on as a trekking pole partner of the CamelBak Pursuit Series, and will offer clinics and hands-on experience for those who are interested in the benefits of using poles on the trails.
Located just outside the urban hubs of Salt Lake City and San Francisco, the series’ inaugural year will see the two three-day event series touch down just north of Salt Lake City at Snowbasin Mountain Resort, UT on Aug. 11-13 and in Sanborn County Park, CA, just 50 miles south of San Francisco on Sept. 8-10.
The events are being brought to participants by The Outbound Collective, an online outdoor and travel community, and CamelBak, a pioneer of hands-free hydration.
“The Pursuit Series is the perfect way to unplug from every day life and connect to the outdoors in a supportive and educational environment,” said Greg Wozer, VP Leki USA. “We are eager to share our knowledge with Pursuers this summer and be a part of the experience from beginning to end.”
Pursuit Series Co-Founder Julia Stamps Mallon stated that, “CamelBak Pursuit Series is about showcasing the beautiful accessibility of the outdoors, so whether you’re a camper or a glamper, downhill mountain-biker or a SUP boarder, there’s an amazing activity and an enlightening experience for you. Our aim is to inspire a connection to nature, and LEKI gives Pursuers the opportunity to engage with trekking poles in the most authentic, enjoyable and educational way possible.”
