True Temper Sports and Trek Bicycle Corporation have inked a strategic supplier partnership in which TRUE will supply its new T3 titanium tubesets for Treks LeMond brand of road bikes. The deal makes Trek the first major manufacturer to announce adoption of True Temper T3 Titanium in its product line. True Temper opened its new titanium manufacturing facility in July of this year.
“We began working with True Temper some time ago on this initiative. We challenged True Temper to push the limits of existing titanium materials available on the market while also providing the superb finish and quality our craftsmen demand and the on-time delivery consumers expect,” said LeMond Brand manager Aaron Mock.
This deal is a continuation of the partnership announced between the two companies earlier this year in which True Temper was named as the supplier for carbon fiber spines for LeMonds bikes.
