Billabong International Limited has appointed Craig White as the company’s chief financial officer. Mr White is currently the division finance director, South Pacific and Korea Division, for The Coca-Cola Company.

Mr White, aged 41, is a chartered accountant and holds an MBA from Deakin University in Australia and a
Bachelor of Science degree in economics and accounting from Southampton University in England.

“I have enjoyed my time with Coca-Cola and the fact that, among other things, I have worked so long with an iconic company makes the transition across to Billabong, itself a widely recognised international brand, a very neat fit,” said Mr White.

The appointment is effective from November 15.

Billabong chief executive officer Derek O’Neill welcomed the appointment.

“Craig has the financial and management expertise to handle the role but he also has a critical understanding the importance of brand management, which is a key consideration for Billabong,” said Mr O’Neill.
“He was an extremely strong candidate and will be a valuable addition to our management team.”

Mr O’Neill thanked outgoing CFO Shayne Palfreyman for his contribution to Billabong over the past four
years.
