Easton Sports has inked a partnership deal with Out Of The Box (OOTB), a full service company servicing licensors, licensees, retailers and inventors. The new relationship puts Easton in the hands of Jack Morrow, described by the comapny as “one of the licensing industry’s most distinguished veterans.”

“Jack brings expertise and a great track record, and we’re looking forward to working with him to develop additional strategic licensing relationships that help build our revenue stream while not compromising Easton’s tremendous brand equity,” said Mike Zlaket, vice president baseball/softball.

Jack Morrow, who founded OOTB in 1999, is the licensing executive behind many of the most successful licensing and merchandising programs of recent years, including such legendary properties as The California Raisins, Xbox, the Flintstones, and Cigar Aficionado. As a top executive for some of the country's leading firms, Morrow has played an integral role in the tremendous growth the licensing industry has experienced in the past decade.

“Out Of The Box is honored to represent Easton. Its reputation and tradition has earned the brand a leadership position within the sports equipment marketplace,” said Morrow. “The goal of the Easton licensing program is to further build brand awareness by identifying industry leaders that share Easton’s vision of innovative, quality products and distribution. Our initial efforts will be focused on product categories that complement Easton’s core businesses.”

Morrow and OOTB’s role will be to solicit and help negotiate strategic licensing agreements for Easton Sports, Inc in attempt to create marketing and merchandising relationships, obtain licensing rights, develop business opportunities and improve overall sales.
