Fox River Mills, Inc. is partnering with champion extreme skier Alison Gannett to promote and refine Fox River’s women’s sock line. Specifically, Gannett will lead the technical design team on Fox River’s winter sport socks for women, as well as provide design advice on the rest of Fox River’s sock lines. Gannett will also lead Fox River’s new women-specific sock wear-testing team. In addition, Fox River will continue to sponsor Gannett in her extreme skiing endeavors.

Her most recent adventure was recreating the first female ascents of Mont Blanc last April which is documented in her new film Corsets to Crampons-Pioneers of Mont Blanc.

“We’re thrilled Alison is part of our team,” says Joel Anderson, president of Fox River’s branded division. “She brings both knowledge, experience and vision that will help us make even better performance-driven enhancements to our sock lines.”

Gannett feels as if working with Fox River is her destiny. “Not only am I big fan of Fox River’s socks and what they are doing to lead the women-specific market, but in college, I studied how Fox River and their home city of Osage, Iowa were working to reduce energy usage and save the environment. In fact, she is currently incorporating those values in her hometown of Crested Butte, CO. To be part of Fox River’s design team as well as one of their sponsored athletes is awesome.”
