Camber Outdoors, the active-outdoor industries organization that works to elevate and accelerate women’s leadership and participation in the outdoors, landed CamelBak, Bell, Giro and Bollé as sponsors for its 2017 Camber Exchange series.

Camber Exchanges are local events that connect people in the active-outdoor industries who share interests, career objectives and passion for the outdoors. These happy hours, hosted by Camber Outdoors member companies, gather women and men from all areas of the industries to network, spark ideas, learn from industry leaders and participate in Camber Outdoors’ grassroots community.

“Camber Exchange events are a way to engage our community around the vision of Everyone’s Outdoors,” said Deanne Buck, executive director of Camber Outdoors. “Thanks to support from our Camber Exchange sponsors, CamelBak, Bell, Giro, and Bollé, we’re able to give leaders at our member companies a space to talk about why and how they’re prioritizing women’s leadership as a business imperative.”

“CamelBak is pleased to continue our support for the Camber Exchange program,” said Jessica Klodnicki, VP and GM of Vista Outdoor’s Recreation Division, and a Camber Outdoors board member. “We strongly believe the active-outdoor industries benefits by creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. This program is one of the best examples of Camber Outdoors’ ability to bring outdoor industry influencers, employees, and prospective employees together towards that goal.”

“We’re excited to continue supporting Camber Outdoors,” said Jen Harned, VP and GM of Vista Outdoor’s Sport Protection business unit, which includes Bell, Giro and Bollé. “I’ve seen the positive impact that Camber Outdoors has made in our industries, and attending their events in person is truly inspiring.”

In 2017, Camber Exchanges will be held in 15 cities nationwide in 2017, and will run from April through October. The first event in the series will be hosted by AIM Media, in Boulder, CO, on April 4.
