Pacific Cycle has hired Ellen Johnson as vice president of product development.

“We’re very excited to bring Ellen to the Pacific Cycle team,” said CEO and Founder, Chris Hornung. “Her level of experience in the bicycle industry is a great benefit to our organization and she’s a great fit with our culture.”

Johnson is a 20-year veteran of the bicycle industry and spent the last five years as Huffy’s vice president of product management. Prior to Huffy, Johnson worked at Specialized.

Bob Ippolito will focus on Pacific’s sporting goods and dealer lines, and now has full control of Pacific’s Independent Bicycle Dealer business as General Manager of that channel.
