Citing a true partnership for sales growth, which included a commitment to new in-store fixtures, on-time deliveries and new product introductions, Norm Daniels, President and CEO of G.I. Joe's, named Under Armour, Inc. of Baltimore, Maryland as its 2004 Vendor of the Year.
Daniels commented, “Under Armour's exceptional performance and effort helped us triple our sales in their product, so they really deserve Vendor of the Year honors. If you made a list of all the attributes needed to be a great supplier, Under Armour has them all.”
Dave Matthews, a buyer at G.I. Joe's, added, “It's refreshing to work with a hot-selling line such as Under Armour, because they're 100% customer-oriented and work hard to grow their business with their existing outlets.”
