Adidas revealed that Aaron Maines will oversee its U.S. soccer sports marketing business, including the brand’s partnerships with Major League Soccer, Major League Soccer clubs and pro athletes.
Maines joins Adidas from sports agency Wasserman, having been based in Los Angeles since 2009. Most recently, he served as Wasserman’s vice president of global soccer where he was responsible for identifying, recruiting, signing and managing soccer clients. Prior to Los Angeles, he spent two years working at Wasserman in London, overseeing international player and commercial activities between Europe and North America.
