Project Las Vegas, opening February 21, will introduce a series of seminars located at the newly positioned Buyer’s Suite, dedicated to an array of topics that impact the retail climate. The discussions will be held within the heritage and classic menswear focused section, The Collective.

Moderators include CFDA member and creative director, Luis Fernandez, who will lead The P1V0T Sessions: Maker Movement discussion focused on tech experts weighing in on the current impact advances in technology have on fashion design and production. First Insight and Fashion for Globe are among the participating companies. A second P1V0T discussion featuring Yotpo will dive into consumer experience and activation.

President of Men’s, Erik Ulin shares, “We think it is important to integrate an element of educational content in our shows, for buyers and brands to walk away not only with a strong book of business but also new ideas on how to evolve in the ever-changing world of fashion. Bringing the Buyer’s Suite and P1V0T sessions to Project is one of the steps in building a strong educational offering.”

Additional forums and panel discussions will cover relevant topics ranging from guiding brands through licensing deals to upping customers engagement through remarkable service and unique experiences. Working alongside Project’s new experiences, Project Women’s goal is to expand a platform that resonates with discovery with both the industry and customer.

Kelly Helfman, Project Women’s Show Director states, “Our show is an ideal platform for brands to launch and connect with the industry. An example of this is music icon, Celine Dion, has cagenhosen our show for her new handbag line debut, and we will be expecting appearances by Jenna Dewan Tatum and Julianne Hough as guests of Danskin and MPG Sport. We are also highlighting ready-to-wear and accessories installations with brands that make a substantial effort to improve their world ethically, environmentally or philanthropically.”

Highlighting what will be in stores for the FW’17 season, Project and The Tents will also present contemporary and designer trends within The EDIT while Project Women’s will showcase brands who are making efforts in the sustainability category with their Conscious Collections trend area. Curbside Art will return to Pooltradeshow for attendees to watch their artists paint live providing a look into their design process.
