Avalanche, the family owned and operated active outdoor apparel company, hired former senior designer at Reebok Christine Procopio as design director, effective immediately.
At Reebok, Procopio designed women’s, men’s and children’s apparel for various collections, including tennis, yoga, training, running and outerwear.
Procopio previously served as a designer for Jockey Ladies Activewear and Polo Jeans Company. Most recently, she has been focused on design consulting for emerging brands.
As director of design at Avalanche, Procopio will guide the direction of its four distinctive men’s and women’s apparel collections.
“Christine is an exciting addition to our Avalanche family from her expansive background in active apparel development and her design and trends sense, as well as her determination to take our brand to the next level,” said Ronny Petrucci, EVP, Avalanche. “We have ambitious plans for our 2018 collections, and Christine is the perfect person to help us achieve our goals.”
Procopio grew up in San Antonio, TX, and currently resides in Carlisle, MA. She is also an avid skier and travel enthusiast.
