Mountain Equipment, a designer and manufacturer of outdoor apparel and accessories, appointed Alpine Sports Company as its sales representative in California, Arizona and Nevada.
Alpine Sports Company, headed by Tom Lane, has worked with ski, sports and outdoor dealers in the Southwest. For more than 30 years, Lane has worked with outdoor brands including The North Face and Mountain Hardware. The company has a targeted focus representing wintersport brands in the California, Arizona and Nevada markets.
“Tom runs an outstanding sales agency that is dedicated to serving the winter sports dealers in this important territory for the Mountain Equipment brand,” said Craig Dixon, VP of sales for Mountain Equipment. “We are confident that he will offer our retailers with an unmatched level of professionalism, sport and product expertise to help expand our distribution.”
Mountain Equipment’s North American office opened in 2011 and is now part of Outdoor & Sports Company Inc.
