Nominations are open for the seventh annual Outdoor Inspiration Awards, presented by Adidas Outdoor, set for January 11, 2017 during Outdoor Retailer Winter Market.
The event celebrates passion, dedication and inspiration within the outdoor industry. Nomination categories include outstanding individuals, retailers, manufacturers, nonprofits and a youth category sponsored by Boy Scouts of America. JanSport, marking its 50th anniversary in 2017, has also joined as a presenting sponsor. Click here to make your nominations.
Adidas Outdoor and Boy Scouts of America work with Outdoor Retailer and a panel of industry leaders to select the annual winners. The nomination period will remain open through November 16, 2016. Nominations are due no later than 6:00 p.m. PST.

Co-hosts Alex Boylan and Burton Roberts from DreamJobbing and reality TV will present the awards and tell the stories of the nominees. Boylan won Amazing Race Season 2 and Roberts competed in Eco-Challenge Fiji and Survivor.
“It seems appropriate to celebrate the accomplishments of the outdoor industry at the national industry event where the entire outdoor tribe gathers,” said Marisa Nicholson, Outdoor Retailer vice president and show director. “We are honored to have Alex Boylan and Burton Roberts from DreamJobbing co-host the evening. Their presence helps to engage the community and continues to make the Outdoor Inspiration Awards a highlight of Winter Market, and an opportunity to celebrate who lend their time and talents.”
