Thule has announced the hiring of Mark Houseman as the Southeastern Sales Manager. In the newly created position, Houseman will be responsible for managing Thule's southeast sales force, including IBD, outdoor/ ski, and automotive sales representatives.
“With the sales growth of the last few years, an additional sales manager will provide our dealers and sales representatives the support they need to foster continued growth,” said Jeff Padovan, Thule V.P., Sales and Service. “We've assembled a great team, with Peter Pell, Michael Moore, and Mark, to keep the Thule sales momentum rolling.”
Houseman was most recently the Western Sales Manager for Giant Bicycles. Prior to working at Giant, Houseman worked for six years at Bicycle Garage of Indianapolis, Indiana, where he served as the Corporate Purchasing Manager.
“I'm looking forward to being a part of the Thule team and growing the business in the southeast,” said Houseman. “People are what our industry is so much about, and I'm excited to be a part of the group at Thule.”
Houseman currently lives in Colorado with his wife and two sons. They will be moving to North Carolina later in the summer where Mark looks forward to some hot, humid summer rides and a little wood working.
